The country’s Public Security secretariats agreed strengthen coordination in the states to safeguard the life, freedoms, integrity and patrimony of the people, as well as to contribute to the generation and preservation of public order and social peace on November 25, during the mobilizations that take place on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

The head of the Federal Citizen Security and Protection Secretariat, Rosa Icela Rodríguez, pointed out that that for the government of Mexico, freedom of expression, demonstration, and assembly are inalienable democratic rights and principles that allow the citizen’s demands to be given cause. During a session of the National Conference of Secretaries of Public Security, it was agreed coordinate actions in the main public squares of the country.
