A total of 72 officials from the citizen security bodies, the Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB) and institutions of the national Executive branch related to maritime and air transport, were trained by the National Office Against Organized Crime and Financing of Terrorism (oncdoft), on the modalities of the crime of human trafficking.
The objective of the workshop was to design a guide so that public servants have the necessary tools to address this crime, as well as contextualize them on the operational actions developed to handle this phenomenon.
Said training was offered in person to 20 officials; as well as 52 digitally through videoconference.
During the training, the international conventions, pacts and treaties that the country has signed were studied; the laws that govern the matter; Which are the bodies that know about this crime directly through the complaint and the action protocols that each agency must carry out so that, in coordination, timely attention is provided to the victims of this crime.
The participants in this workshop are part of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc); the Bolivarian National Police Corps (CPNB); the Bolivarian Navy; the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB); the International Airport “Simón Bolívar”; the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC); the National Institute of Aquatic Spaces (INEA); Bolivarian Airports (BAER) and Bolivarian Ports (Bolipuertos).
