Before the difficult public order situation that has been taking place in the rural area of the Tame municipality (Arauca), where clashes continue between the ELN and FARC dissidents, An expanded Security Council was held to establish actions to regain territorial control and ensure safety for residents.

The departmental government must attend in a complementary way the actions carried out by the municipality of Tame with regard to humanitarian support, urging continued support from relief agencies and humanitarian organizations.
The Tame Government Secretary stated that the governor of an indigenous community filed a complaint about three people from the reservation, who were held by an armed group hours later they returned to their territory, so there is a risk of forced recruitment.
