The sector vice president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabellosaid Tuesday that security agencies made the seizure of a new high -caliber weaponry arsenal in Miranda state.
«The amount of weapons and the power of fire that it has is impressive. Behind is what is called the ammunition, a ammunition factory, everything that is required; Weapons, armament pieces, things for cleaning, oil, explosives (…) a contentive box of grenades, ”he said.
The Minister for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace said that a carbine, 23 sniper rifles of different calibers, two shotguns, a rifle -type automatic weapon, ammunition of all calibers, lead bullion that are used for bullet design, caliber rifles 308 and 338, among others.
In addition, a point 50 rifle was found that is “totally deadly and lethal”, to which they added a “top quality” telescopic sight and a silencer.
“What were they going to do with this? What were the plans of these sick sectors of the fascist right?, Who were going against?” He questioned and added whether the intention was to repeat the stage of April 11, 2002 with snipers. “On April 11 they placed snipers and accused the national government of what happened, on July 29 they used gunmen,” he recalled.
The minister stressed that this is part of the conspiracy plot that has been denouncing, “here the Serbian appears, the explosivists,” and explained that the arsenal was found in “coves designed to keep weapons, explosives.” He showed videos of the places where Arsenal was.
Cabello indicated that the authorities are in search of other coves because they have the information from other sites where special equipment is found to make pieces of weapons, as thrown by the investigation.
Likewise, he informed that on Monday in the state Nueva Esparta 10,000 liters of diesel used on drug trafficking routes were seized; that in recent days the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) has destroyed more than five attempts to build drug trafficking camps along the border.
Linking with María Corina Machado and Iván Simonovis
The minister stressed that the seized weapons would be used for the conspiracy plans of the Venezuelan ultra -right sectors, denouncing the linkage of the leader María Corina Machado and the fugitive of justice, Iván Simonovis.
“What is here has the seal and responsibility of Iván Simonovis and María Corina Machado, who lost all shame, do not mind looking for alliances with criminal gangs, with drug traffickers, with terrorists, with paramilitaries,” he said and emphasized that the goal is to generate destabilizing actions against the Venezuelan people.
Cabello said that the seizure of these weapons represents a victory for the peace of the Venezuelan people. “These specific victories of our FANB and security agencies are also a great victory for the people who fight and care about peace in our country,” he said.

The minister announced that for these facts, in addition to Carlos Luis Arrieta Márquez, aka El Flaco, and Aliannis Araujo Lozada, aka La Negra, who are involved in the Case of Explosives of Plaza Venezuelasix other people are detained.
