This Wednesday the Senate voted the second motion of no confidence that has been cited against the Minister of Mines and Energy, Irene Vélez. the upper house voted overwhelmingly for the official to continue in office.

The motivation of this second occasion was the presentation of figures on the natural gas resources and reserves that the country has.
