Regional Directorate 15 of the Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic (MINERD), The application of the Second Call for National Tests began normally this Saturday, where 2,276 students from the aforementioned educational demarcation of the Basic Adult and PREPARA levels were summoned.
The evaluation day will take place in the six Educational Districts of Region 15, with the strategy of two subjects per day. In this sense, Mathematics and Social Sciences are planned for the first day, and Spanish Language and Natural Sciences for Sunday.

In this regard, the director of Regional 15, Rafael Amador Figarissaid that the evaluation process begins at 8:00 in the morning until 1:30 in the afternoon, with a duration of two hours between one test and another, where students will have a 20-minute break or recess.
Amador Figaris said that the applicators must ensure at all times and at each stage of the process that the cleanliness of the National Tests is guaranteed.
On his side, Yasafina Concepcion, Regional Technician 15 for the Evaluation of the Quality of National Tests, added that the process of these second tests is starting very well, and that from early in the morning, they held a routine meeting with the district and national directors and technicians and those in charge of national tests from the different instances.
Concepción clarified that the points they discussed included the time of entry and exit of students, technological devices and the applicators’ own regulations.
Headquarters centers
For the educational community of Los Alcarrizos, at the Félix María Del Monte and Max Henríquez Ureña Educational Center, for Educational District 15-02, Juan Pablo Duarte School and for 15-03, Republic of Paraguay Primary School.
In that order, Santo Domingo Noroeste, is at the Ángeles Custodios Institute, for 05-15, Rosario Evangelina Solano High School, Manresa, Las Américas and Las Palmas.
In the Pedro Brand Educational District, 15-06, it will take place at the Gregorio Luperón and Pedro Henríquez Ureña Educational Center.
District Directors Highlight Evaluations
With the presence of the six Educational Districts of Region 15 and the National Testing teams and the managers of the aforementioned entities, they detailed the importance of these National Evaluations in this last stage of this school year 2023-2024.
The director of 15-01, María Castillo, stated that Regional 15 is always responding in favor of the educational community and that they as district members feel committed to making this process a complete success.
