From today (26) to Thursday (28), Sebrae is holding an event in Brasília to encourage the participation of micro and small companies in public sector purchases.
A survey by Sebrae itself indicates that between 2018 and 2021, the contracting of goods and services by federal, state and municipal entities moved around R$ 494 billion. Of this total, R$ 129.4 billion, or 26%, correspond to small businesses.
Despite this and other numbers that, according to Sebrae, indicate a “trend towards greater participation of micro and small companies” in public purchases, the entity argues that it is still necessary to “debureaucratize” the business environment, making life easier for entrepreneurs in the sector.
Named Transformar Juntos, the event is the result of the combination of two others already promoted by the entity: Fomenta and Brasil Mais Simples. In addition to lectures and debates on innovation, public management, tax rules, networking and other topics, the event, at the International Convention Center (Cicb), has vendor stands.
Part of the program can be followed on the internet, by registering on the event website – carried out in conjunction with the associations of Members of the Courts of Auditors (Atricon) and the National Association of Members of the Public Prosecutor’s Office (Conamp).
Organizers expect around 1,200 people to attend.
The Cicb is located in the Setor de Clubes Esportivos Sul, Section 2, Conjunto 63, Lote 50, Asa Sul.
