On the afternoon of this Wednesday, April 12, it was learned that the director of Municipal Engineering of the Baruta Mayor’s Office, Harold Sosa, was arrested in Caracas by the Anti-Corruption Police, attached to the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (Sebin), regarding the allegations of corruption involving Rafael Perdomo, one of the owners of the HP Construction company that has become the most prolific in the Las Mercedes urbanization.
The information was confirmed to SuchWhich by the mayor of Baruta, Darwin González, who nevertheless pointed out that it was not an arrest but an “invitation to testify” made by Sebin officials who went to the administrative building. «They appeared at the Mayor’s Office but did not get to enter. He was not handcuffed, but responded to the invitation,” added the mayor.

In Darwin González’s opinion, such an interview should be done at the municipal government facilities. “These things should be done at the mayor’s office because there are all the documents available, to facilitate the processes.”
González has insisted that his management has nothing to hide about the relationship with Rafael Perdomo’s HP Construction Company (with whom he appears portrayed in the photo that accompanies this not), arrested on March 20 in Caracas for allegedly being involved in acts of corruption of the Pdvsa Cripto plot.
