Sebastián Villarejo met with Lilita Carrió

Elisa Lilita Carrió, co-founder of Juntos por el cambio and former deputy of the Argentine nation, received Deputy Sebastián Villarejo, President of Patria Querida and current candidate for the Presidency of the Republic within the Coalition, at her residence on Thursday, November 24.

Carrió and Villarejo are recognized for their frontal fight against corruption and for being articulators in the national politics of their respective countries.
They discussed the future challenges of the region, and a roadmap for joint work that manages to deal with corruption, organized crime and insecurity.

Villarejo stressed the importance of citizen participation to achieve positive changes. Carrió emphasized the importance of the joint struggle in defense of democracy.

«The Paraguayan people are my brother, because I was born in the Chaco. Also, that I love Encarnación, Asunción, Lake Ypacaraí. I ask everyone to go vote in the internal elections, to participate, to vote for young people who have values. Let them participate throughout Paraguay,” said Lilita in a video that she recorded with Villarejo.
He mentioned that he knows that it will be very hot around those dates, but that “it doesn’t matter, because they are a beautiful country.”

The patriarchal candidate thanked Argentine politics and stressed the importance of participation in the inmates on December 18. “Let’s all go vote. The price of freedom is eternal vigilance and that begins with the vote. It is important today, what this challenge requires is to paint your finger. So I appeal to all of us to go vote and encourage ourselves to generate a new policy and, above all, generate a change in our country so that people live better, “he said.

Micaela Hierro and Alberto Miño, social activists from Cultura Democrática, the organization that promoted the meeting, participated in the meeting. Also present were Lucila Lemhan, former deputy from Santa Fe, and Claudio Cingolani, also a former parliamentarian.
