Search for missing fisherman continues

The National Aeronaval Service (Senan) announced this afternoon that they are continuing the search for a 53-year-old man, a crew member of the “Central Pacific I” vessel, reported missing last Wednesday, April 19, when they returned to Puerto Caimito from West Panama, from Taboguilla.

They reported that since they received the initial report from the company that owns the vessel, they began coordinating the search work in the quadrant defined by the Senan Search and Rescue Unit.

“In the search for this citizen, air and naval means are being used to find the whereabouts of this fisherman, we remind the fishing community that remains in the search area, if they have any information that allows this person to be located, contact our emergency line 108,” the statement said.
