Search continues for young man who fell into the Ichu river in Huancavelica

Despite the climatic inconveniences, for the second day in a row, the search continues for the young Hernán Ccanto (26), who fell into the Ichu River during the early hours of last Tuesday in the heart of Huancavelica.

Members of the Fire Company, Huancavelica No. 56, the National Police and the local Serenazgo participated in the search for several kilometers downriver, reaching the Seccsachaca bridge.

Another contingent reached the Santa Rosa bridge, unfortunately there was not a positive result of the location of the young man’s body.

It was the security video cameras that captured the young man’s fall into the waters, so they sought to rescue him through various means, unfortunately, without success until the closing of this edition.

It turned out that the night of the fatal incident, the young man was drinking liquor in the company of two people, including a lady, who was detained for the alleged commission of a crime against life, body and health.
