The Argentine ambassador to Brazil and appointed Minister of Productive Development, Daniel Scioli, thanked the president of the neighboring country, Jair Bolsonaro, on Sunday for having “facilitated” his work during his stay there and for “the progress made in the bilateral relationship.”
“I thank President Jair Bolsonaro for his gesture of receiving me at Alvorada prior to my return to Argentina. I expressed my gratitude for having facilitated my work as ambassador to Brazil and for the progress made in the bilateral relationship,” Scioli wrote. on his Twitter account.

In the past week President Alberto Fernández offered Daniel Scioli to take office in the Cabinet after asking Matías Kulfas to resign and the diplomat, former vice president, former governor of Buenos Aires and former presidential candidate in 2015, accepted the proposal, so he will leave his duties in Brasilia.
The ambassador had recently highlighted in radio statements the commercial relationship between Brazil and Argentina, and detailed that in 2021 an “export record” was achieved, the highest in eight years.
