The Argentine ambassador to Brazil, Daniel Scioli, spoke this Saturday in favor of calling a political table of the Frente de Todos (FdT) considering that “it is consistent with what has always been done” and assured that “it is good that converse” within the coalition ahead of the upcoming elections.

In this way, the ambassador referred to the meetings that former President Mauricio Macri had with opposition leaders such as the former Minister of Security Patricia Bullrich, the head of the Buenos Aires government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, and the head of the General Audit of the Nation , Miguel Angel Pichetto.

“The leadership of the FdT has to organize itself. There are four months to go before the closing of the lists and, since a strategy was defined in 2019, it is good that these things are discussed,” remarked the former Buenos Aires governor.
When asked about a possible candidacy, Scioli assured that he will be “as he has been for more than 20 years where he thinks they need me and where I can help.”
“When the time comes, I will decide and discuss it with my political space. According to the wishes of the people and if I think I can be useful, I will do what I have to do. In that sense, He maintained that he is currently “focused on implementing and executing each of the points signed on January 23” by Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and President Alberto Fernández.
