It also addresses the news on investments and public policies for scientific promotion. The program is a partnership of TV Brazil with the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations (MCTI) and is in its second season, with new and more dynamic staff.
The program’s mission is to promote scientific dissemination and help viewers understand the science behind everyday phenomena.
In the first season, the program adapted to the needs imposed by the covid-19 pandemic and addressed several topics related to the new coronavirus, such as research for the development of vaccines and equipment and the search for adequate treatment.
Science in everyday life has also inspired episodes on biology, physics, chemistry, mathematics, engineering, cinema and astronomy, among other areas. A trip to Maranhão showed details about the Alcântara Launch Center (CLA), in operation since 1989 to launch rockets.
