Schoolchildren saved from dying after lightning struck the sports field where they played in Cusco

Amazingly, four students from the San Antonio Abad Educational Institution in Chinchaypujio (Cusco) were practically unharmed after a lightning strike while they were leaving the Ccochampampa stadium, after participating in a sporting event.

The secondary school students affected by the lightning strike were evacuated to the Chinchaypujio Health Center, the same ones who respond to the names: Brandon CC (16), Smith ME (15), Jean BG (15), and Mary TC (14), where the doctor on duty diagnosed some injuries due to lightning strikes, remaining under observation.”

During the preliminary proceedings and according to the director of the educational institution, yesterday morning they were carrying out sports activities (football and volleyball) in the aforementioned stadium, and at around 3:00 p.m. they were leaving said sports venue, when it started to rain and suddenly lightning struck, It is there where the students vanished and reported what happened to the Police and health center, who quickly evacuated the students for medical attention.

The minor Jean Franco BG (15) yesterday at night He was evacuated to the Antonio Lorena Cusco Hospital in order to rule out other types of injuries.
