The president of the School for the Strengthening of Popular Power, Atahualpa Lara, mentioned that the main task of this institution is to generate training spaces in the communal councils and communes to provide tools where they can carry out situation analysis.
For the program Café en La Mañana, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), he highlighted that there are two phases: the first is to explain the reason for the communal horizon, and the other is to provide technical guidance with different schools.
He highlighted that the last workshop they held this year was in the state of Barinas, where 110 young people from the ages of 12 to 30 participated. “We had a very broad profile to experiment with all the young people and learn about their concerns,” he added.
Likewise, he added that they have served 450 young people, “that is, each young person who participated is a community served, they are a spokesperson for that community and the ideal is that they can replicate each workshop in their communities.”
