Santo Domingo – Once again school lunch and breakfast suppliers protested the alleged irregularities committed by the National Institute of Student Welfare (unabie) in the last food tender.

Elizabeth Beriguete, speaking on behalf of the protesters who this time gathered in front of the presidential palace, warns that for the next school year there could be massive intoxications.

Harming thousands of students because the suppliers chosen under alleged irregularities do not belong to the local municipalities and because of the distance the food would arrive broken.

They reiterated their request for annulment of the process of the unabie and they made a call to the authorities so that they know the appeals and carry out an audit of the current management of Inabie.
