“Educational Summer” a proposal based on playfulness and emotions
With attendance that far exceeds the expectations generated previously, the Summer Schools Program continues to develop in the department of Cerro Largo.
“The proposal is based on playfulness and emotions” commented the Teacher Noelia Rodríguez.
“It is a totally different proposal from the one that children work on during the school year. It is about having fun, being stimulated and motivated with activities based on games, with a lot of work on emotions” overtook THE DIARY PROFESSIONAL the Director of the Educational Summer at School No. 75.
“We also try to strengthen ties and values. We have pool activities, walks, the last week we are planning a trip to the city of Fraile Muerto to do a canoeing activity. In addition to all that, we do tours in the city itself. We are planning to go to the BIO Parque, the Rivera Park, the Zorrilla Park and also the Sports Plaza” confirmed.
“Last Tuesday we had a pool and aquatic activities, which is very attractive for children. It is a very nice proposal that Physical Education Teacher Diego Rocha has” projection.
Noelia Rodríguez said that there was already contact with the teachers of the Municipality of Fraile Muerto who are working in the beach area to coordinate the visit to that natural space so cared for by the locals. “It is an activity in which parents also participate, thus we strengthen the bond with the community” he stressed.
Not only children who attend 75 during the year are taking part in the summer proposal, but also from other educational centers. “There are other schools in the area. We have a lot of attendance every year from different institutions.” he remarked.
“There are 86 children registered. We have about 15 on the waiting list and attendance this year has been much higher if we compare it with previous years” revealed the Master Director.
Daily attendance is approximately 75 children. “There has been good demand” he assured.
In addition to Noelia Rodríguez in the Directorate, the Team includes Teacher Yesica De Souza, Professor Diego Rocha and in the last few hours a new teacher who travels from Río Branco, Fátima Salah, joined. The service assistants are María and Pierina.
“Yes, I have personally worked in the Educational Summer for many years, it is the first time I have done it from the Management. It is all new, a little nervous, but with the support of other colleagues who have experience we are doing very well” said.
“The Inspectors are impeccable, supporting at all times” stood out.
He agreed with his colleague from School 10 regarding the love for the task because nothing more and nothing less than the most important rest period for teachers is at stake. “You have to like it a lot because it is a period where you generally rest. As it is a different proposal, it is quite enjoyable. It is highly recommended. I enjoy it as much as the children” stated Teacher Noelia Rodríguez, Director of Summer Schools at School No. 75.
