Close attention, on November 15 the opportunity closes for Colombian professionals to apply for scholarships with which they can study master’s degrees at different universities in Chile, in virtual or face-to-face mode, thanks to the Pacific Alliance, already through Icetex.
The call is for studies in different areas, which will take place from March 2023 to March 2025.
The applicants will be able to access a scholarship with 100% coverage according to the virtual or face-to-face modality of the program to study at universities or institutions of higher education in Chile.

The call is aimed at university professionals who work as State officials, as well as academics, teachers or researchers from officially recognized universities and professionals who work in various areas of civil society. Each applicant must have definitive admission to one of the educational centers in Chile.
Scholarship Requirements
Among other requirements, the the applicant must be between 21 and 65 years old, have a minimum undergraduate grade point average of 3.7 out of 5.0 and have at least 1 year of professional experience after having obtained the title in the area of the program to be carried out.
This offer is provided by the Chilean Agency for International Development Cooperation (AGCID) and to contribute to the training of professionals from Latin American countries such as Colombia, Mexico and Peru (which, with Chile, are members of this Alliance of International cooperation).
Expenses covered by scholarships
For these scholarships, the selected Colombians will have access to round-trip air tickets from Bogotá to Santiago de Chile and from Santiago de Chile to Bogotá, respectively; the payment of tuition at the chosen university or institution and the costs of the degree for the duration of the program.
Also, within the costs covered by this offer, the selected people will be granted medical insurance while the scholarship is valid, a monthly stipend for maintenance of $560,000 Chilean pesos (approximately $2,850,000 Colombian pesos) and a one-time allowance for texts and study materials within their first term of $90,000 Chilean pesos ($460,000 Colombian pesos).
The offer of international scholarships that are offered by foreign governments and institutions through Icetex, are offered in the country thanks to the international cooperation management of the entity. This allows Colombians to have an attractive portfolio of calls that is constantly updated on the Icetex website for public knowledge.
