WHO CAN APPLY FOR THE POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM IN MEXICO?
The scholarship program is aimed at foreign students, including Peruvians, who prove legal status in Mexico, who maintain high performance and academic performance in their studies, and commit to full-time dedication within the chosen postgraduate program.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR A SCHOLARSHIP IN MEXICO?
According to information provided by Pronabec, these are the requirements that you must meet in order to apply for one of the scholarships offered by the Mexican government.
- Be enrolled or have been admitted to an institution of higher education eligible for the scholarship.
- Register or have updated your curriculum vitae on the Conacyt portal before the application date.
- Submit the required documentation to the academic coordination of the postgraduate program.
- Have obtained a minimum average of 7.8 in the immediately previous level of studies if they were carried out in Mexico and 8 if they were carried out abroad.
- Have achieved a minimum average of 8 in each of the periods studied within the postgraduate program with which you are applying for the scholarship and have passed all the subjects.
- Dedicate yourself exclusively to the studies of the postgraduate program.

WHEN IS THE CALL TO APPLY?
The application and delivery of the scholarships will be made through the academic coordinator of the chosen program. Most of the calls, however, start in February and August of each year. In this sense, Conacyt recommends consult the annual calendar of scholarships or also check with your National Scholarship Allocation Subdirectorate area.

The National Quality Postgraduate Program, through the National Council of Science and Technology (Conacyt) of Mexico, has a total of 2,404 programs to choose from in areas such as:

- Health Sciences
- Engineering
- Social Sciences.
