Officials of the District Municipality of Chiguata would have used public offices as a real canteen, generating a scandal that was already reported to the National Police of Peru. In the recordings, several bottles of alcohol and the officials are observed in an apparent state of intoxication.
According to the video released, Councilor Geraldine Benavente reported that, around 5:00 pm, she found the municipal managerGladys Ramírez Valdivia; the management secretarySandra González Patiño; the Taxation ManagerRocío Pinto Valdivia and other workers drinking liquor and listening to loud music in the Archive area of the commune.
The fact did not stop there, since the involved would have tried to prevent the inspection work of Councilor Benavente, even producing an alleged physical attack against her.
The fact that raised questions was already reported to the Police at the Chiguata police station.
