The Superintendence of Banking, Insurance and AFP (SBS) declared the dissolution of a new financial entity. This is the Integraperú Savings and Credit Cooperative (located in La Libertad), which is subject to the cause of inactivity.
According to the SBS resolution, it was found that the closure of the main premises of the coopac located in the Centro Poblado Cartavio Prolongación Camal S/N, Santiago de Cao district, Ascope province, department of La Libertad, without prior knowledge and/or authorization from the regulator, for a period of 15 calendar days from January 15 of this year, until the 29th of the same month.
“It is observed that the coopac Integraperu is involved in the cause of inactivity given that the closure of its main premises has been confirmed, without it being aware of it, for a period of 15 days,” detailed the SBS.
Likewise, he specified that the entity will no longer be subject to credit. However, he clarified that the measure does not put an end to the legal existence of this institution, which will subsist until the liquidation or bankruptcy process is concluded.
Likewise, it indicated that it is prohibited to initiate judicial or administrative proceedings against this entity for the collection of debts under its charge. Nor can the execution of judicial resolutions issued against them be pursued.
In addition, Edwin Esquivias Astete has been appointed as main temporary administrator and Christhian Sarmiento Zamora as alternate temporary administrator.
