The Banking and Insurance Superintendence (SBS) This Thursday declared the submission to the Intervention Regime of the La Cumbre Savings and Credit Cooperative for being immersed in the cause of total loss of social capital and the reserve.
I measured it was adopted through the SBS resolution No. 00641-2025 published in the Official Gazette El Peruano.
The regulatory entity appointed George Roger Vilcatoma Ollais and Antonio Flores Piña as the main and alternate auditors, respectively. In that sense, officials may carry out the necessary acts to specify the intervention, in accordance with the General Law, the COOPAC Law, the Regulation of Special Regimes, and other norms.
The designated ones will have the Faculty for “the determination of the real heritage of the Savings and Credit Cooperative the Summit in Intervention, in application of article 5 of the Special Regimes Regulations.”
Likewise, they may also carry out the subscription of the Convocation and Quorum proof of the General Assembly of the Savings and Credit Cooperative the Summit in Intervention, as well as exclusively limiting the issues to be addressed in said Assembly, in accordance with article 7 of the Regulation of the Regulation of special regimes.
The resolution also stipulates that it is prohibited to initiate against the Cooperativa La Summit “judicial or administrative processes for the collection of credits in its charge”. In addition, it cannot be “pursued by the execution of judicial resolutions dictated against it.” nor “to constitute levies on any of your assets in guarantee of the obligations that concern you.
Nor can “make payments, advances or compensation or assume obligations on behalf of it, with the funds or goods that belong to it and are held by third parties.”
