The Superintendency of Banking and Insurance (SBS) declared this Monday the dissolution of the Intercredito Peru LTDA Savings and Credit Cooperative. Through SBS Resolution No. 03416-2024, the agency determined that the cooperative was subject to inactivity.

The rule establishes that it is prohibited to “initiate judicial or administrative proceedings against them for the collection of debts owed to them,” as well as “pursue the execution of judicial resolutions issued against them.”
In addition, it is also prohibited to create liens on any of your assets to guarantee the obligations that concern you; make payments, advances or compensation, or assume obligations on its behalf, with funds or assets that belong to it and are in the possession of third parties; and constitute a precautionary measure against their assets.
Through the resolution, Gaby Luz Ruiz Delgado and Leonardo Rojas Huancahuire are appointed as temporary, main and alternate administrators, respectively, of the Intercrédito Perú LTDA Savings and Credit Cooperative. in solution.
In that sense, they are granted powers to “carry out the necessary acts to carry out the dissolution” of the cooperative.
The administrators may register the resolution that declared the dissolution of the Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Intercrédito Perú LTDA. in the corresponding Public Registry.
They may also take immediate possession of all the assets of the cooperative in dissolution, ordering that the titles, securities, contracts, books, files, as well as any other document and anything belonging to it be delivered; as well as sign the minutes containing the transfer of these assets.
And they may prepare, from the declaration of dissolution, the statement of financial position, the income statement and other corresponding comprehensive income, in accordance with the pertinent provisions issued by this Superintendency.
