The Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and AFP (SBS) ordered the dissolution of the Mi Empresa Savings and Credit Cooperative, after verifying that it is subject to the cause of inactivity established by current regulations.
Through SBS Resolution No. 03640-2025, published today in the official newspaper El Peruano, the exclusion of said entity from the National Registry of Savings and Credit Cooperatives Not Authorized to Capture Resources from the Public was also ordered.
As part of the dissolution process, the rule establishes the prohibition of carrying out the following actions with respect to the cooperative:
- Initiate judicial or administrative processes to collect debts against you.
- Execute judicial resolutions previously issued against you.
- Establish liens on your assets as collateral for obligations.
- Make payments, advances, compensation or assume obligations on your behalf with funds or assets that belong to you and are in the possession of third parties.
- Impose precautionary measures on their assets.
Likewise, the SBS appointed Ana Claudia Castro Rivas as temporary main administrator, and Johnny José Luis Cortez Misad as alternate administrator, who will act on behalf of the supervisory entity.
Both professionals are empowered to execute the necessary acts to carry out the dissolution process of the Mi Empresa Savings and Credit Cooperative, in accordance with the provisions of the resolution.
