The Superintendence of Banking, Insurance and AFP (SBS) declared the dissolution of two savings and credit cooperatives. What are they and why was this measure taken?
According to the resolutions published in the legal regulations, the Chancay Savings and Credit Cooperative and the Credyolucion Savings and Credit Cooperative, both entities are subject to the cause of total loss of social capital and the cooperative reserve.
THE SBS ordered that the two cooperatives be excluded from the National Registry of Savings and Credit Cooperatives Not Authorized to Raise Resources from the Public.
As of this date, it is prohibited:
– Initiate judicial or administrative proceedings against these savings and credit cooperatives for the collection of debts under their charge.
– Pursue the execution of judicial resolutions issued against you.
– Create liens on some of your assets to guarantee the obligations that concern you.
– Make payments, advances or compensation, or assume obligations on her behalf, with funds or assets that belong to her and are in the possession of third parties.
– Establish a precautionary measure against their assets.
