It also indicated that, according to article 11 of Law No. 26702, General Law of the Financial System and the Insurance and Organic System of the SBSany person who intends to capture or receive money from third parties, in the form of a deposit, mutual or any other modality, requires the prior authorization of the Superintendency.

“These entities are fraudulent, since they offer loans on the condition that, previously, the interested parties make deposits of money, for policies, credit insurance, expenses or commissions, without finally complying with disbursing the loans offered,” said the SBS.

In addition, virtual applications or platforms have been detected through which money loans are offered and disbursed, either at the user’s request or even without the user having requested them. Likewise, when requiring users to pay the loans, these apps include high charges and interest, and threaten users with informing all their contacts of their supposed debtor status. Among them are Incadinero, Viva Crédito, Credibus, Billete Plus, MonedaCome, Novocrédito.

“The general population is called upon to find out adequately and take the forecasts of the case, when they must decide where to save or invest their money, or require a financial service of any kind,” added the SBS.

Any query or complaint related to people or companies that provide financial services, without authorization from the SBS or without being registered, can be submitted to this entity, at the telephone numbers 0-800-10840 (toll-free nationwide) or 01-200 -1930, or email [email protected].
