Hoy No Circula is a program that seeks to reduce the pollution produced by vehicles in Mexico City and the State of Mexico and improve the quality of the air you breathe every day.
To do this, it applies traffic restrictions to some cars, depending on their characteristics, license plate number and rubber color.
Cars that will not be able to circulate this Saturday
According to the official calendar of the Ministry of the Environment (Sedema) of CDMX, this Saturday the following do not circulate:
-Vehicles with hologram 1 and plates ending in even numbers: 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8.
-Vehicles with hologram 2, regardless of the final license plate number.
-Foreign plates, regardless of hologram or finish.
Cars that do leave without restrictions
On the contrary, the following cars will be able to circulate without problems:
-Vehicles with hologram 00 and 0, which are usually newer and have lower emissions.
-Electric and hybrid cars, exempt to encourage clean technologies.
-Vehicles with hologram 1 and plates ending in odd numbers: 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9.
