A 9-year-old girl disappeared in the Ipoki River after a truck crashed on the Satipo – Pichanaqui route. The accident occurred last Sunday. The fire company has been searching for little Mayte.

On September 29, Mayte was traveling with her family towards Pichanaqui, but 500 meters from the town of Ipoki the truck they were aboard got lost and fell into the river. The family asks for help from the population so they can find the girl who was in the fourth year of primary school.

In this regard, the fire captain, José Quispe, said that they coordinated three brigades with the population, security guards, police and members of the municipality to search for the girl. Regarding the other occupants, according to preliminary information, they were rescued and taken to the hospital.
