The Ministry of the Interior is offering a reward of 10 thousand soles for anyone who provides information that helps capture those involved in the disappearance of four men, whose whereabouts have been unknown since last April 2023 when they went on a trip during the Asháninka Central strike, in the community of Puerto Ocopa.

Those investigated for the disappearance are: Fabian Antúnez Camacho, Antonio Aucayauri Fuentes, Aroldo Rojas Diquez and Eulogio Domingo Prado, they are accused of the crime against personal liberty in the form of kidnapping and qualified homicide of four people.

In the midst of a social conflict in the province of Satipo on April 14 and 15, José José Valdivia Andamayo (32), his nephew Brandom Alejandro Cruz Rojas (19), Erick Cabrera Cáceres (43) and Adrian Asuncion Ramirez Fernandez (51), disappeared.

They were returning home, when they arrived at Puerto Ocopa, in Río Tambo, they found the bridge blocked by Aháninka residents, who demanded that the Government come forward after the murder of their leader Santiago Contoricón Antúnez (58), killed by a shot to the head in his house.
After a few months, the police confirmed that the alleged perpetrators burned and threw into the river the motorcycle in which the victims were traveling. In this regard, the Public Prosecutor’s Office recently confirmed, through a video and testimonies of protected witnesses, that the victims were tied up and beaten during the strike.
