SAT simplifies RFC and electronic signature procedures

For registration to the RFC of both individuals and legal entities, pre-registration on the SAT portal prior to the appointment is no longer required, the tax authority reported in a statement.

For the renewal of the e.signature of natural persons that has expired less than one year, the procedure can be done through remote channels. In case of renewing it at the SAT offices, the taxpayer will only have to bring a USB memory, identifying themselves with their fingerprint.

For all those who pay taxes under Resico, they are exempt from submitting the annual declaration, they will only have to comply with the monthly payments.

While people who are dedicated to “agriculture, livestock, fishing and forestry activities who are members or members of credit unions, the SAT specified, can now work under this regime.”

In addition, people who have left Resico and wish to re-register can do so by submitting a clarification case or an activity update notice.

Finally, the SAT recalled that proof of tax status can be obtained in its offices only with the taxpayer’s fingerprint or voting credential (INE), as well as through its website, SAT ID, SAT Móvil, Chat and the virtual office.

Likewise, “the Final Data Card is enabled, “a new way for taxpayers to practically consult data such as name, RFC, tax regime and postal code.
