Not even cameras stop theft
From the last week of September to date, 3 robberies and two other attempted robberies were recorded in the houses of the La Libertad neighborhood, in the La Punta town center, in Sapallanga. This increase in crime generated discomfort among residents who claim to take justice into their own hands.
“In my house I have cameras, but they broke them and then they broke in to steal, we are tired of crime,” said one of the injured.
“The criminals took all the merchandise from my kiosk valued at more than 2 thousand soles on Saturday. “We called the police but they did nothing.” the victim said.
