The capital of São Paulo will carry out a multi-vaccination campaign this weekend. In addition to vaccines against influenza and covid-19, triple viral (measles, mumps and rubella), tetraviral (measles, mumps, rubella and chickenpox), BCG, pentavalent, inactivated polio vaccine (VIP), oral polio (VOP), pneumo 10, rotavirus, meningus C, meningus ACWY, chickenpox, hepatitis A and B, yellow fever, DTP (diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough), adult duo, HPV and pneumo 23.
Today (4), the Outpatient Medical Assistance (AMAs)/Integrated Basic Health Units (UBSs) will be open, from 7 am to 7 pm. On Sunday (5), the Buenos Aires, Severo Gomes, Independence, Ceret and Youth parks will apply the vaccines from 8 am to 5 pm. Vaccination also takes place from 8 am to 4 pm on Avenida Paulista, in a tent located at number 52.
The units will provide vaccines against covid-19 for children aged 5 to 11 years, adolescents and adults, with first, second and booster doses. Since last Monday (30), the state of São Paulo started the application of the third booster dose (or fifth dose) against covid-19 for immunosuppressed people over 60 years old, as defined by the Ministry of Health. The interval between doses should be four months.
