São Paulo sets up transport operation for the Sambadrome

The company SPTrans, responsible for buses in the capital of São Paulo, set up a special transport scheme to serve the public of the samba school parades held at the Sambódromo do Anhembi. Two special bus lines were activated to facilitate the movement of the public to the event, connecting the Sambódromo to the Tietê and Barra Funda Metro stations, in addition to arranging for the change of route of line 9717/10. The SPTrans field team monitors the entire operation to assist passengers.

The special bus lines 179A/10 Metrô Tietê-Anhembi and 879A/10 Metrô Barra Funda-Anhembi were activated to transport the public exclusively to the Sambadrome.

The ticket price is the same as the system’s basic fare – R$ 4.40 – and buses will normally accept all types of Bilhete Único.

Olavo Fontoura, Return to gate 1 of Anhembi, Landing at gate 1, Av. Olavo Fontoura, Praça Campo de Bagatelle, Rua Paineira do Campo, Rua Voluntários da Pátria, Rua Pe. Idelfonso, Av. Southern Cruise.

The boarding will be towards the neighborhood on Av. Cruzeiro do Sul, 1777, and towards the center on Av. Olavo Fontoura (bay after gate 0)

879A/10 Barra Funda-Anhembi Metro. Will operate today and tomorrow (23). Opening hours: Metro Barra Funda-Anhembi (one way) – from 5:25 pm to 9:25 am. Anhembi-Metrô Barra Funda (return) – from 5:25 pm to 9:25 am on the 22nd and 23rd.

Departure: Av. Auro Soares de Moura Andrade (Barra Funda Metro – South side), return, Av. Auro Soares de Moura Andrade, Av. Pacaembu, Av. Dr.Abraão Ribeiro, Rua Baronesa de Porto Carreiro, Av. Affordable Transport

The Atende+ Service, aimed at people with autism, deafblindness or physical disabilities, makes 94 vans available on the 22nd, 23rd and april 29, during the samba school parades at the Anhembi Sambadrome. The operation to havestarts at 19:00.

The vehicles will be available at four locations: Pavilhão do Anhembi (for internal circulation), Metro Palmeiras-Barra Funda, Metro Portuguesa-Tietê and at Av. Olavo Fontoura (CET Post), to serve users heading to the Sambadrome.

Atende+ is a free, door-to-door mode of transport, operated with adapted vans, intended for people with autism, deafblindness or physical disabilities with a high degree of severity and dependence. It also transports people with special needs and reduced mobility, such as pregnant women, the elderly and obese.

Itinerary change

The bus line 9717/10 Jd. Almanara – Santana will be temporarily diverted in the north zone and around Anhembi on the 22nd, 23rd and 29th (champions parade), always from 6:30 pm until 9 am the following day. See the itinerary change at SPTrans website.
