The state capital registered 125.4 mm of rain this Friday (24), the third largest volume since the beginning of the historical series of the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) in 1961. The information was confirmed by the State Civil Defense.
Considering the 82mm that fell from 15h to 16h, the agency said it is the largest volume in history ever recorded for the period of one hour.
The city, which turns 471 today, was with 26,400 customers without electricity, according to Enel update at 11am, and partially operating the 1 Blue Metro line. The line crosses the city from the North Zone to the South Zone.
