Vaccination against covid-19, polio and other diseases continues this Saturday (4) in the capital of São Paulo. For the service, the Ambulatory Medical Assistance (AMAs)/Basic Health Units (UBSs) Integrated will be open from 7am to 7pm. The covid-19 vaccine is available to the entire population from 6 months. For the first booster dose, children from 5 years old, adolescents and adults who received the second dose at least four months ago are eligible.
The second booster dose of the vaccine can be taken by the entire population over 18 years of age who received the previous dose at least four months ago. The third booster dose is also available for people with a high degree of immunosuppression over 18 years old, who took the second booster dose at least four months ago.
According to the Municipal Health Department, all elderly people over 70 years of age, as well as people over 12 with immunosuppression, indigenous people, residents of long-stay institutions and employees of these facilities in the city of São Paulo. As of Monday (6), all seniors over 60 years of age will also be able to receive the immunizer.

The polio vaccination and multivaccination campaigns were extended indefinitely. Children from 1 year to 4 years and 11 months old can receive the polio vaccine. For the public up to 15 years old, in addition to oral and inactivated poliomyelitis, triple viral immunizations (measles, mumps and rubella), chickenpox, BCG, pentavalent, Pneumo 10, rotavirus, meningo C, meningo ACWY, chickenpox, hepatitis A and B, yellow fever, DTP (diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough), double adult, influenza and HPV.
