He left the facilities of the Special Force to Fight Crime (FELCC) surrounded by his followers and amid cheers and garlands. The governor of La Paz, Santos Quispe, dodged a possible arrival in jail and celebrated: “I stand tall, I am innocent, I thank the impartial judge.”

The justice determined this Thursday night the house arrest with the right to work and roots for the governor of La Paz, Santos Quispe, who is investigated for improper use of state assets after alcoholic beverages were found in his office, Tuesday night .

Likewise, the La Paz authority must not drink alcohol and has to deposit a deposit of Bs 70,000.

“I am very grateful to the judge who has been impartial, we want him to see that judge’s impartiality,” Quispe said of the court’s decision.

In the middle of the party, one of the complainants, Assemblywoman María Góngora, criticized the determination of justice and asked the governor to work. “I am very disappointed and I want to ask the governor to work and not drink,” she said in an interview with Cadena A.

This Thursday afternoon, the hearing of precautionary measures was installed for the crime of improper use of state assets and obstruction of justice in the framework of the investigation of alleged alcohol consumption in his office.

At the end of the hearing, Quispe insisted on claiming his innocence and accusing his detractors of mounting the case.

“I come out with my head held high, because after all I have not committed anything and everything I had spoken was the truth. ‘I’m innocent, what are they arresting me for,’ I’ve always told them,” she stated.

“They have done things, they have armed, they have brought bags full of crushed beer. Who can take, well, crushed beer cans and have them throw it at me and take pictures, ”he added.

The complaint was filed by the assembly members of Somos Pueblo Israel Alanoca and María Góngora, who surprised Quispe in his office in an alleged drunken state.

In the video that they themselves published, dozens of beer cans are seen on the floor while the governor denies being drunk.

The opponents also observe his statements to the press after his arrest.

Asked about a possible counterclaim, Quispe has ruled it out. “I am not going to denounce, he is in his conscience, everyone knows, because the truth is that he has done a lot of damage and he will be in his conscience,” said the governor.

In addition, he promised to work and not disappoint the people of La Paz. “I am going to work stronger and harder because I have a commitment to you and I am going to let you down and we are going to strengthen so that La Paz is the first department,” she said.
