The bench of Honor Colorado in the Chamber of Deputies, established a position in relation to the projects that intend to suspend the payment of royalties and penalties for breach of contracts in the delivery of soybeans.
Deputy Basilio Núñez, leader of the Colorado Honor bench, announced that he will request that both projects presented by his colleague from the ruling party, Colyn Soroka, be treated as soon as possible to vote for rejection.
For his part, the advisor to the bench, the pre-candidate for the Presidency, Santiago Peña, said that these projects were already raised more than a year ago and at that time there were already voices of rejection against them.
“To raise this again with just 70 days to go before party elections, what encourages is a populist project”Pena said.
He added that the projects of deputy Soroka generate damage to the legal security of the Republic of Paraguay and said that he would have liked the Executive to reject the initiatives, but lamented the “complicit silence” from the President of the Republic himself, Mario Abdo Benítez.
