He Santiago Metro continues with the extension of Line 6, one of the most anticipated works of the capital’s transportation system. The new section includes three additional kilometers from the current Cerrillos station towards the west, with a new stop called Lo Errázuriz.
This station will be located at the intersection of Avenida Costanera Norte del Ferrocarril and Avenida Lo Errázuriz, within the commune of Cerrillos. The expansion seeks to facilitate the transportation of nearly 90 thousand people who move daily through this area of Santiago, significantly reducing travel times and improving the connection between different means of transport.
