Last Sunday, December 29, a tragedy shook the department of Cesar, when a family of Christian pastors was the victim of a violent hitman attack in a restaurant in the region.

In the attack, which occurred during lunchtime, three people died: Marlon Lora, Yurlay Rincón and his daughter Ángela Mora. The three members of this family were hit by gunfire when they were in the establishment, enjoying a family moment.
In the same attack, Santiago Lora, the couple’s youngest son, was seriously injured and was rushed to the Aguachica High Complexity Clinic.
For three days, the 18-year-old fought for his life, but sadly, on the night of December 31, the clinic confirmed his death.
“We regret to inform that patient Santiago Lora died at 9:00 p.m. on December 31, 2024, due to secondary complications derived from the criminal attack,” the clinic reported.
Santiago, who was just 22 years old, became the fourth fatal victim of this massacre that has left the region shocked.
They carry out investigations and offer a reward to find those responsible
The National Police is in the process of analyzing security cameras in the area, seeking to obtain clues that will help identify the perpetrators of the attack.
Given the facts, the Mayor’s Office of Aguachica and the Government of Cesar have decided to offer a reward of up to $50 million pesos to those who provide valuable information that leads to the capture of the criminals.
The measure seeks to accelerate investigations and ensure that those responsible face justice for this heinous act of violence.
