Drummer, Santiago. – The director of the General Directorate of Strategic and Special Projects of the Presidency (Propeep), Roberto Ángel Salcedo, affirmed this Saturday that this province and the entire country are experiencing “a true social revolution” with the construction of infrastructure works and the implementation of the days of social inclusion “First You”.
Leading in this municipality the second day of his administration and the sixth of Propeep this year, Roberto Ángel said that with the monorail, which will be inaugurated in the coming months, the asphalting of the streets and other infrastructure works, that revolution ” it is irreversible”.
“What Santiago is experiencing in the government of President Luis Abinader is a true revolution and is an irreversible transformation,” he said.
He said that in terms of infrastructure, special attention has been paid to paving the streets of Tamboril, which he affirmed is 90 percent paved, and in terms of major works, the monorail will be a reality.

He also cited the works carried out in the water sector, the construction and repair of houses and others, which he affirmed will have to change the face of Tamboril, Santiago and the entire Dominican Republic.
He stressed that in social matters, the country is also experiencing a revolution with the implementation of social inclusion days “First You”executed by the Government through Propeep, and appreciated the vision of President Luis Abinader to improve the living conditions of people living in conditions of vulnerability and extreme poverty.
“President Luis Abinader’s vision is to bring the government’s plans closer to the population, because “You First”, because the people come first, because the objective of President Luis Abinader is to work for and for the people.” Roberto Ángel assured the more than two thousand people gathered at the Eugenio de Jesús Marcano High School, in the Los Polanco sector, in Tamboril, where the social inclusion day took place.
Highlighting that more than 15 institutions participate in the social inclusion days organized by Propeep, he said that the objective is to provide assistance and services to the people who need it most, all concentrated in one place, so that they receive it in their own communities. .
“We pay special attention to the most vulnerable, because it is a human government. It is a government that is consistent with those who have less, and we must go to their aid and assistance,” proclaimed the official, who was received with effusive applause upon arrival at the school.
After delivering his brief speech to those present, Salcedo toured the classrooms and tents where health care was given to children, youth, pregnant women, adults and the elderly, registration for late declarations and technical training, delivery of Superate cards, Senasa, food and solidarity pensions, among other services.
The Provincial Governor, Rosa Santos; the mayor of Tamboril, Angiolino Germisén; and Deacon José Alejandro Díaz, who thanked President Luis Abinader for the Propeep Conference held in the municipality.
For his part, Adolfo Pineda, director of the Dominicana Digna program, from Propeep, explained the objectives of the “First You” conference and highlighted the services and aid offered during its development.
In addition to the provincial governor and the mayor of Tamboril, deputies Soraya Suárez, Luis Rene and Francisco Díaz, the director of Pro Industria, Ulises Rodriguez, and the mayor of Puñal, Enrique Romero, among others, were also present at the event.
