Whoever was an actor in series like Pálpito or novels like Lola Calamidades, is now Santana Rosa, “why did God make me a boy, if I am a girl,” he explained that he had to live with that dilemma since childhood.
News Colombia.
Santiago Gómez, a well-known actor in Colombia, has now reappeared as Santana Rosa, a difficult trans process that lived to transform, “rename, recognize,” he told Diva Rebecca in an interview.
He explained that since he was a child, he had to face “effeminate gestures” that he points out, brought him problems.
“Why did God make me a boy, if I am a girl,” he said.
He explained that “I have never come out of the closet, I always recognized myself as (gay)”, what he decided to do was his physical change.
He has been in productions like Lola Calamidades, La Venganza de Ana Lía, series like Pálpito and others.
A few months ago, practically since the beginning of 2020, he decided to recognize himself “that it is the first step.” And he started the transition from him to Santana Rosa.
His physical change; from his hair, nails and others, to psychological, mental and self-love management, in a whole process that he recognizes, has been complex.
“If I speak now, it is not to ask them to accept me or reveal anything to them, I simply want them to see me like this because it will not be like before (like Santiago), and I want to continue acting, working,” he said.
That’s how he talked to Diva Rebecca.
