Good news for travelers! Santiago de Chile will once again have flights direct to Bariloche. Starting this Thursday, the Bariloche airport will receive the first regular plane directly from Santiago. The company in charge of operating these flights is Sky Airline, which will offer this route until September 24, just as it did during the summer season, transporting more than 10,000 Chilean tourists to Bariloche.
Direct Sky Airline flights to Bariloche They will take place three times a week, on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. They will use Airbus A320neo aircraft with 186 seats in a single class. The duration of the flight is approximately two hours, and the prices of the tickets start from 68 dollars, depending on the date and the luggage.
From the Ministry of Tourism on the Argentine side they have highlighted the importance of this new air connectivity, since it will allow reaching Bariloche without having to go through Buenos Aires, thus facilitating the massive arrival of Chilean tourists to the city. Likewise, this air connection also provides the opportunity for the residents of Bariloche and the region to travel to the capital of Chile and, from there, connect with any part of the world.
It is important to mention that Sky Airline already offers flights direct from Santiago de Chile to the Ezeiza and Aeroparque airports in Buenos Aires, as well as Mendoza, and now Bariloche is added to its list of destinations. This means that travelers will have more options to explore and enjoy these incredible places without the need to make additional stops.
