The teachers’ unions of Santa Fe carry out a strike for 48 hours, in rejection of the proposal for a 33.5% salary increase from the provincial government, with which there was no activity in the public schools and in great part of those of private management.

The unions also announced a measure of equal duration to begin on Tuesday of next week, for which the Government requested that it be rescinded in order to call a new joint meeting and make a superior offer.

With this panorama, the school year of Santa Fe will start on Friday in all schoolswith which the district accumulates 12 consecutive years without a start on time, which is not conditioned by salary claims.
