Santa Cruz registers four new cases of monkeypox and half of the covid infections in the country

Santa Cruz persist as the disease epicenter with the highest number of infections in the country. This Monday, report the four new cases of monkeypox Throughout the national territory and almost half of covid cases.

The epidemiological report presented by the Ministry of Health and Sports recognizes the recovery of 61 monkeypox patients. At the moment, 88 remain under medical observation.

Santa Cruz has detected the four new cases registered in the country on Monday. So far, it accumulates 134 confirmed cases of monkeypox. The rest of the patients (the accumulated cases) are distributed as follows: Cochabamba (7), La Paz (6), Potosí (1) and Chuquisaca (1).

Regarding the epidemiological report by covid, Santa Cruz has detected 57 new cases, which represents half of the 119 identified this day. The remaining cases correspond to Cochabamba (26), La Paz (19), Chuquisaca (7), Tarija (5), Oruro (2), Beni (2) and Potosí (1). In Pando no new cases have been reported.

The recovered people are identified in the same report. This Monday they add 636 people healed, which brings the total figure to 1,046,415. By departments, La Paz identifies 276 recovered patients, Tarija 126, Santa Cruz 100, Potosí 67, Cochabamba 27, Pando 23, Chuquisaca 17. In Oruro and Beni there are no recovered patients.

The sad note of the day has to do with the death of a patient. The covid has claimed the lives of 22,229 people in the country.
