The Cruceño representatives dominated the third date of the National Karting Championship, that was run over the weekend in Potosí, by winning four of the seven categories that were open. There was record of registered in this race since 64 pilots competed.
The competition was held at the Ramiro Aguirre Menacho circuit and was orOrganized by the association of Sucre. The test was not held in the Bolivian capital because the city’s kart track is not yet ready to host official competitions.
Two sleeves were run on Saturday and another two on Sunday. The Santa Cruz representatives who climbed to the top of the podium were Lucas Careaga in the Child 6.5 and Vortex categories, Julio Carrillo in Baby Kart and Germán Cuéllar in Master Rotax.
The other categories were won by Lupita Calvo in F200 Standard and Sergio Aguirre in F200 Super, both from Potosí; while the chuquisaca Mathew Careaga was the fastest in the Professional.
