Two patrols with more than a dozen police and parapolice officers broke into the homes of Allan Sebastián Bermúdez and Sandra del Carmen Acevedo Díaz from Diriambino to kidnap them.

Relatives of both kidnapped persons denounced that since the day of the municipal votes, the officers of the Jinotepe National Police have not allowed them to see the detainees, they do not allow them to pass them food, clothing or refer them to a personal lawyer.

The kidnapped persons were presented on November 21 in the Criminal District Court of Hearings of the department of Carazo, at around half past eight in the morning, accused of the crimes of conspiracy to undermine national integrity and propagation of false news. through information and communication technologies.

Both defendants are originally from the city of Diriamba and in 2018 they decided to join the anti-government marches, an act that now keeps them deprived of their liberty and with all the violations of their human rights.

The desperation to know how her aunt Sandra del Carmen Acevedo Díaz is doing has led her two nephews to seek help from the independent media, since they assure that they have not seen her for more than fifteen days.

“Other prisoners who were already there have told us that my aunt Sandra is beaten, the day they took her from the house as if she were a criminal, they mistreated her, beat her, dragged her and beat her, she was alone with two old people. and those animals (the police) came at dawn to take her away so that no one would notice, as if that were not enough, we go and they don’t let us get food for her, we haven’t seen her and we don’t know how she is,” said one of her nieces who asked to be omitted for fear of being repressed.

Sandra Acevedo’s niece assured that her two children had to flee Nicaragua in order to be safe, since one of them had already been imprisoned in 2018 and received an amnesty letter.

Sandra is recognized in the city of Diriambina, because she was dedicated to the manufacture and sale of caramel boxes and nancite candies, which she sold in the municipal market of this city.

“My aunt is not a criminal, everyone knows her, her crime has been to think differently and say up front what bothers her about this government, for having supported the students in 2018, now they are doing this with her, when they They know who she is, the day they stained her house, she responded with a biblical text because she is a Christian, what they are doing is absurd and unfair,” added the young woman.

It was learned that Allan Bermúdez was a candidate for councilor for the Constitutionalist Liberal Party (PLC) in the 2015 municipal elections. Since then he has been an activist against the Sandinista government.

According to a police source, there is a long list of people who will be accused under the same charges in the Local Criminal Court of the department of Carazo, so the raids do not end.
