Sandinista regime receives support from totalitarian dictators in the framework of the 45th anniversary of July 19

Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo are pleased with the congratulatory messages sent to them by their friends, dictators and representatives of totalitarian regimes, but this actually shows the total isolation suffered by the Sandinista administration from the democratic world.

Nicaragua’s vice-dictator and government spokesperson, Rosario Murillo, reported that they have received many congratulations in the framework of the 45th anniversary of the triumph of the Sandinista Popular Revolution. She highlighted messages from the North Korean dictator, Kim Jong Unwhom he called “most excellent companion and comrade.”

Murillo said, in a proud tone, that the Korean dictator, described as one of the most despotic in the world, expressed in his greeting his “confidence that from now on the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, “established in the anti-imperialist struggle”, will be constantly strengthened and developed.

Another who sent congratulations to Ortega and Murillo was the one from Belarus, Alexander Lukashenkoone of the longest-serving tyrants in the world, who will celebrate 30 years of holding on to the government of this former Soviet republic by force next August.

The interim president of Iran is also added to the list, Mohammad Mokhbar, who offered his fellow Nicaraguan dictators “to take more effective measures to ensure common interests, in light of valuable past experiences and many potential capabilities in various political, economic, commercial and cultural fields, as well as joint efforts in international forums and organizations.”

Ortega’s spokesperson also said she was pleased to receive messages from the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, the Prime Minister of Belarus, Roman Golovchenko, the Workers’ Party of North Korea and other “friends” she did not even mention.

“We feel happy and honored to receive these important letters, messages that say everything, because we are soul mates and we are in the same trench, it says it clearly and that is how we feel in the same trench, closely united,” said Murillo.

The regime’s spokeswoman has said that at least 700 delegates will visit as part of the celebrations of the Sandinista revolution on July 19. They have not announced high-level visitors from their closest political partners in Cuba or Venezuela.
