Sandinista deputy Guillermo Arce Castaño dies

The proprietary deputy in the National Assembly from the Sandinista caucus, William Maple Brownpassed away this Sunday, March 27, at the age of 76.

“The National Assembly regrets the sensitive death of the militant deputy of the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN), comrade Guillermo Arce,” the Parliament, controlled by Daniel Ortega, reported in a mournful note.

They add that the parliamentarian promoted, since the previous legislative period, municipal and tourism development laws as a member of the Population, Development and Municipal Affairs Commission and the Tourism Commission.

Until now, the causes of the death of the brother of the economic adviser to the Presidency, Bayardo Arce, are unknown. His body will be veiled in Sierras de Paz and tomorrow, Monday, a posthumous tribute will be held in the National Assembly at 2:00 PM, and then he will be buried in the Veracruz Cemetery.

Arce Castaño has been a deputy since 20112. He was re-elected in the disputed elections of November 7, 2021. On January 9 of this year he was sworn in together with the steamroller of parliamentarians of the Daniel Ortega dictatorship.
