How to get there?
This impressive destination is located approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes from Bogotá, in the municipality of Nemocón, Cundinamarca. To get there by car, you must take the route that passes through Chía, Cajicá, Zipaquirá and finally Nemocón, from where you access the desert.
To get there by bus, you must first take one to Nemocón. Then, you will need to board another transport that will take you in about 25 minutes to the Tras El Alto farm, where the desert is located.
It is important to go with caution and at low speed, since the road is not paved.
The entrance fee is 15,000 pesos per person, a value that includes insurance and a tour guide.
However, there are also plans that include lunch and more amenities, such as that of the company Conexión Natural, which It costs 65,000 pesos per person and includes round-trip transportationentrance to the respective private properties, integration activities, accident insurance, specialized guides, photographs and digital videos, although it does not have breakfast or lunch.
